im definitely old school. i used pnp back starting at 99 till 2004 maybe.
i started on undernet in 97. boy time flies! good to see misspai's code still on the net.

I used PnP from late 2000 up until January 28 2008, when my harddrive crashed. I installed GNU/Linux on the new drive, and my last Windows workstation
was history. The only remaning windows computer in my house is an old Windows 98 which I only use for old games once in a while.
I still miss the script, but I won't go back to Windows only because of PnP.
Besides I don't accept the Windows EULA, so.. 
And I've been running GNU/Linux since 2001 on the rest of my computers anyway
